Fall Family & Engagement Photos In Noblesville | Autumn Creek Bed in Full Fall Color

Sweet Fall Family & Engagement Session with Some Besties

Fall is the season where all the cozy vibes come out to play, and I had the absolute honor of photographing this session that was near and dear to my heart. This wasn’t just any shoot – this was for for some of my family's besties and their beautiful little family, from Whitestown, Indiana! 🍁👨‍👩‍👧

We've known the groom since our high school days (oh l-hor-d, lol) which is crazy as here I am capturing his ENGAGMENT photos 19 years later! lol C_R_A_Z_Y.

And as always... their little girl, Harper brought so much energy and sass to the shoot. That girl is going places! She’s a little pistol full of sparkle and I always absolutely adore her little giggles. During the session she kept asking if my daughter was coming and then when I got home and told Ainz, she was mad she didn't get to come too. These girls love each other so much... the little stinker butts.

Fun fact: As I'm about a year behind in sharing this session here on the blog, these two tied the knot in May 2024 where the hubs and I was both in their wedding party.

About the Location

You may recognize this location from other shoots we've shared like Mallory & Brayton's Engagement Session or when the Juday family snuggled up with their sweet dogg-o here.

For this couple we worked together to pick this spot for a few reason:

  • He doesn't like photos and we wanted to make him comfortable so he could relax. Ty doesn't like having photos done so this location was very much HIS vibe. He loves to hunt, be outdoors and it's secluded enough that people weren't walking by watching us or honking from the road

  • Fall Vibes. Whit really wanted to target in on a fall session for their engagement so she'd have a wide variety of images to use for their wedding stationary as well as to have a different vibe then what their wedding photos would be like, being shot in May. And even though the trees had only begun to start changing colors when we shot the location still very shines with those fall vibes.

  • Family friendly. Since Harper was coming along to make this session an engagement /family hybrid shoot we need to make sure there was plenty of space for her to be close/hang out while she wasn't in the shot, but that should couldn't go wondering or get herself into trouble. This location isn't near any streets and the bank is super wide this time of year so really she just hung out in wagon watching her iPad when she was helping me keep mom and dad inline for the session. lol. It worked perfectly.
